It is required to email vincenzo@mexem.com as soon as you finish linking and provide your IBKR account number(s) to request the discounted commission rates. Failure to do this will result in you receiving Mexem's standard rates, which may be higher than IBKR.
* If a client trades on Day 2, they may request a manual refund for the difference in fees between IBKR and MEXEM. This refund is handled by our back office and typically takes 3–4 weeks.
Transition Timeline
Day 1
Account accepted into MEXEM system. IBKR commissions still apply.
Day 2
Account fully under MEXEM. Navigation Trading commissions loaded (not active yet).
Day 3
Reduced commissions go live and are visible in the account.
